*In the first item up for bids, Rita clearly bids $845, and not $825, which Bob says, and the display says. It wound up that it didn’t matter, but Rita might not be happy if it cost her the $100 bonus if it really was $845. *I am just now learning that this episode aired a day early here in New Orleans, where it aired Tuesday, January 20, instead of Wednesday, January 21. Wonder what was going on…. *This is another episode that proves that great contestants make a great episode! *Rosina is the obvious star of the episode, making likely the most entertaining coming up on stage before you’re supposed to contestant ever. She was, very clearly, VERY happy to be called to come on down! *Rosina had a homemade Plinko chip, made for her son’s birthday, with her for good luck. And lucky she was, for even back in Season 26, Plinko was rarely played sixth. *On the other hand, it’s a real shame that she won only $1100, as she dropped all of her Plinko chips near the center of the board. *Also… it was great how she kept interrupting Rod’s descriptions of the small prizes screaming the number she thought was right! *Thomas was pretty entertaining himself, telling Bob he’d give the Price is Right a good review for the paper he works for if he won Squeeze Play. It might also hold a record for longest playing of Squeeze Play. *Linda was good too, both before getting on stage (saying she’s too old to be a contestant), then seeing the car (saying she needed one, as her son crashed her car just last night). |
